[Az-Geocaching] GPS Sensitivity

My Magellan Map 330 worked anywhere inside my previous house in TX
that was 2500sqft. Exterior walls were hardiplank. Here in AZ, it is 4
feet from a window and can't get a lock. Exterior walls are typical
AZ...the wire mesh with the exterior stucco or whatever it's called
out here. Heck, I can have it sitting on the sill and will only get a
lock if I am lucky. I took a couple of airplane trips between San
Antonio and Phoenix. I could only get a lock if I kept it up to the
window. As for vehicles, whether I was in my minivan, now my truck or
in my wifes car, it works like a charm anywhere inside, including the
middle. Kept a lock all the way from Phoenix to Las Vegas. I even
waypointed some benchmarks on Hoover Dam.
