[Az-Geocaching] Major League Cacher and Cache Density

Nope, 106 looks right. 10 in the first row, and then 9 in the second. That
means the second row can be 457.26 feet from the first. Then alternate 10
and 9. It looks like you would end up with 6 rows of 10 and 5 of 9 for 125,
but you actually have room for a bit over 11.5 rows, so you can forget the
triangles and make the last three rows all 10, so you end up with 7 rows of
10 and 4 of 9 for 106. Of course, it's late, and I'm probably missing
something obvious or important, in which case, I'm sure someone will let me
know soon..

Bill in Willcox.

I could fit at least 126 caches into a square mile without violating the 528
foot rule.... but maybe that's a puzzle cache for another day. :)

Had fun in Tombstone while in Arizona for spring training. Thanks.

Hmmmm. Maybe we have a celebrity major league cacher out there...

Also, did you know?-

The maximum number of caches you can fit in a square mile is 100? Well, that
is IF GC.com actually stuck to their .1 "ahem"..."guideline".
