Hey Steve,

I have a friend whose parents own a printing shop. I sent her an email to
see if they'd be interested in donating or at least giving us a good price.
I'll let you all know what they say. Let me know if you need anything else!

I finally got to talk with someone at Phoenix Parks and Recreation.
Apparently that is the agency that is coordinating everything. We are signed
up as "Arizona Geocachers" and will participate in the trail cleaning
project, and we will have a booth that we will need to staff. The more the
merrier, so if you become interested and/or available, I'll be glad to add
you to the list; just let me know.

As far as the presentation is concerned, I'm emailing AZCachemeister, who
volunteered, and we'll go over that off list. It's not a done deal yet.

Now, they're expecting over 5,000 people to attend. They won't all stop at
our booth, but we need to have something in the way of a handout. That,
however, involves money.

I'd like to be able to have a number (500-1000) of the Let's Go Geocaching!
brochure (http://www.geocacher-u.com/resources/brochure1.pdf) available, but
we'd need to either pay to have them printed and folded, pay even more to
have them printed in color and folded, or find someone with the facilities
to print and fold who would we willing to donate the work and materials
(paper, ink, etc.). So if there's anyone who can donate that, please contact
me. Otherwise I'll start passing the hat.

If anyone has any ideas on additional handouts or giveaways that we could
(afford to) obtain, I'd be interested in hearing them as well.

National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is Saturday, September 24. For more
information, read the information at http://tinyurl.com/7s89g and
http://www.npld.com <http://www.npld.com/> . If you haven't volunteered yet
and want to join us, please let me know. Thanks.
