[Az-Geocaching] things not to do in the Fog

You need to change the name displayed in your e-mail settings. What would
be different is, any e-mail you send out to ANYONE would have that different
name displayed. You *could* create a secondary account with the same
settings as your primary account, with the different name in place, and you
would have to select the secondary address when you want to send to the
listserv. That's why I went from displaying Brian - Team A.I. to Brian
Casteel. When I lost my teamai at cox.net account after the move, I had to go
to my other account as a new primary for everything, and since it wasn't
just the listserv I e-mailed, my displayed name needed to change.

Rand.......................I see there is even a group of computer geeks
that have a company called "Geeks on Call ". I never thought I would see the
day when being a computer geek was considered "trendy". I think you could
probably lump geocachers in general into the "wacko" category, as who else
would spend endless hours and gallons of gas searching for an ammo box in
the boondocks. I guess it would be akin to being a prospector in the old
days. Also, being mostly computer illiterate, I'd like to know how to change
my listserv profile, so my name doesn't come up as PATRICK FINLEY, in
capital letters. I'm not sure what I did when registering, but I'm really
not announcing my arrival, every time I post a message. Take
care............Pat

Patrick,

Rocket scientists, astronomers, computer techs, gadget geeks, talk radio
junkies...I guess there's a category for most all of us where we could be
dubbed "wackos."

I consider myself in good company on this listserv. [:-D]

Rand..........I think you could lump Wacko, nerd , and geek into the same
classification. Just take a look at "Doc" from the Back To The Future
movies. Also, aren't rocket scientists looked at as "pocket pen protector
geeks".................

HEY!...a "wacko"!? At least with a TIME MACHINE you could go back and
retrieve the rocket before it burst into "a ball of fire"! [:O]

Is a "Wacko" anything like a nerd or a geek? (Hehehehe) [;)]

Hey, rockets are cool. Especially when they come down in a ball of fire
that was completely unintentional. J Recovery is greatly simplified as a
result .
