My Geocaching name is named after a Dalmation that I once had. His name was Elmo and we had to feed him certain foods or he would get...um...gassy. So, He quickly got the nickname Elmosmelmo.
He passed away before I started caching but when I had to decide on a name I knew I would use his nickname.
I suppose in a way it's like He's right there with me when I am out caching.
It's funny because people sometimes think that I hate the Elmo on Sesame street or something.hehehe...but that's not the case.

Actually, I think the reason for my splitting and getting my own account was more about me wanting to log few finds finds I did without you.
As for "Artificial Intelligence", we were just unlucky enough to create our team name just after that movie came out. Since I don't think anyone really remembers that movie much, we don't get associated with it anymore. The only real part of "Artificial Intelligence", is how bloated my ego gets while I'm playing Trivial Pursuit.
About the only change I see coming for out team is possibly the naming convention... Team A.I. (North) and Team A.I. (South)... Nah, that'll never work.

I think it's been mentioned before, because it was widely assumed that the
team name Jake and I use is somehow associated with Artificial Intelligence.
The *real* story is this: We were at a cache trying to come up with a name
that we could both use. Jake's online identity is insomniak, and mine is
Addikt. He tossed A.I. out there, and it stuck. Finds were initially
logged under my account, and he would get credit for being part of the find.
But as I began finding caches with greater frequency than Jake, we split and
he logged his finds independently, as I did with mine. For the record
though, all finds listed under my identity are ones in which I was present,
and the same for his.
Brian
Team A.I.
