Hey Trisha!
Try Place

Might take your mind off for an hour or so...

I know LOTS of "useless" trivia...my special interest is geography. For
example, I know most world countries AND their capitals, including many in
Africa.

On the other side of that, it is SAD and ridiculous how many people don't
even know the very basics, like showing where Florida is on a map.

PS like my topic title?

I know, but you got me to wondering if the quote was incorrect or
not (for my own useless knowledge), so I found out.

Good job, Brian! (But my original comment was a joke.....)

I sought a definitive answer. A .wav file of that portion of the movie was
located, and it is exactly what I blatantly stole from another movie quote
site. :)

And after learning that the waymarking of McDonalds seems to be VERY

popular

already, I offer this stolen movie quote as the theme for the new site.

Not sure what's happening on your end Andy (maybe
you're using Internet Exploder *I mean Explorer*). It
is in the beta stages and I've seen a number of people
in the forums writing about bugs. I just visited the
Barnotoo's Blogspot and after visiting his blog, I
logged the so-called "find" on it with no problems.

Keep in mind that while you can claim these as "finds"
they don't actually affect your Geocaching.com
numbers.

I don't get it - you visit someone's blog and you
get to claim that as a
"find"? Then what are the coords for?

Also if I view "Barnotoo's Blogspot" and click on
"log your visit", it tells
me that I must have eaten at "highway stop on the
400". Hmmm.... Perhaps I'm
misunderstanding.

Interesting. That should finally put to rest the
dispute over what to do
with locationless caches.

Hey All!

My apologies if this topic has already begun to
circulate. (I only receive the digests currently). I
noticed a topic on the groundspeak forums today
about
the new Waymarking.com site. It's the solution that
Jeremy has been working on for quite some time now
and
it's currently available in beta format for Premium
Members only. It's different, and doesn't seem
anything like the locationless and virtual caches
that
it replaces. According to the FAQ they're asking
that
current owners of locationless caches create their
waymark listing on the new site and then archive the
cache on the gc.com site. I checked it out today and
even added one under the BBQ Restaurants category
(to
find it do a search on zip code 85004).

Anyway, just wanted to open this up for
comments/discussion.
