Oil company profits may be "record breaking" , but they are not that great
over the long term. Where do profits go? No,  not into oil exec pockets
(that's before the profit). They go to investors in the form of dividends
(if you have a mutual fund, stocks, or 401K, that's YOU), or back into the
company to fund future growth, infrastructure, or exploration. Oil no longer
comes out of the ground as a "gusher". It must be found, then sucked out,
really, really hard.

 

If you REALLY hate oil companies, go oil free. Good luck.

is it not also true that the last refinery built in this country was in 1969
due to enviros?? and we wonder why they break so often???

 

why do the oil companies still make record profits..
