All the oil companies are recording record profits, that should tell
you we a definitely being ripped off !

Woooaahh! Be careful who you blame, most take it out on the cashier working
at the station that has no control over pricing. Neither would the manager
for that fact! Everyone thinks the stations make a huge profit but that's not
who is gouging you! It's the big oil companies like Shell, Chevron, Tosco or
making it easier any one of the oil refineries. Just because it's a Shell or
Chevron....ect...doesn't mean it's owned by a big oil company. Most in the
Phoenix area and Yuma are owned by smaller jobbers who have contracts will the
oil companies for a supply. Yes, they are making a lot of money but the
complaining on this page will get yo no where! Start writing e-mails to your
Congress and State Representatives. Actually they are the ones to blame for all
this mess! There use to be a lot of oil companies competing against each other
and the Feds let bigger companies buy out smaller ones forming bigger
corporations. Shell-Texaco was the first one with Union, Chevron, Mobil all in bed
together some way or another. With less competition pricing will always go up
and that's one of the worst things they could of done. Just so you know Uncle
Sam gets 37 cents for every gallon, most station dealers make less than 10
cents to pay for 3200 dollar light/AC bills, pollution insurance, theft/drive
offs, permits galore, equipment. Sometimes it's just not fun....want to yell
in the proper direction, start with the ones who ask for your vote. Next you
can thank the environmentalists but no one wants to see an oil well platform
off the coast or in Alaska. So, you get what you pay for!
