A couple obvious questions strike me...
Have you changed the GPS model in Preferences from Magellan to Garmin? =
Did you remove the cable for your 315 and plug the one for the Foretrex =
into the same serial cable or a different one? Those are probably where =
I would start, since Garmin/Magellan use different communication =
protocols.
