[Az-Geocaching] Kangaroo's revenge

It seems you stopped a bit short.  Remember, geocaching encourages players
to take vehicles where they are illegal.  You were supposed to drive your
Navigator right to the cache.  You stopped 100 yds short, so the find
doesn't count.

Nope... separate GPS' were used every time (actually, both of us even
brought our individual "spare" GPS' on many of the trips)... we always did
this to see who could find it first.  :-)  In fact in the "Nearly in
Harmony" cache I kind of almost cheated.  :-)  In my Navigator I have the
navigation package (how could I turn that down?).  On this particular cache
I knew the park it was located in so I just entered the park name as a
"point of interest"... my vehicle brought me within 100 yds of the cache
(the distance between the green belt where the cache was located and the
street I was parked on).  :-)  This isn't really cheating, is it?  After
all, I did use a GPS... just not a handheld.  :-)  Getting street by street
directions (and being literally told where to turn) sure is a lot easier
than guessing which street to turn down.  :-)  :-)
