No, you're not imagining. That black scar just below the mountain top is
the burn site. It looked like a much larger area when it was burning in
the dark last night.

While driving east on Cactus this afternoon I thought I could see the
burn mark near the ridgeline of the McDowells where the plane went down.
Anyone else in sight of the mountains see the same thing, or am I
imagining?
