Ya know I spent several months in Communist CHINA and felt I had more =
Freedom than I do now.....of course I could never explain Geocaching to =
anyone other than my Translator, and that took a while, but they agreed =
this game is sort of fun and since the taxpayer paid the DoD for the =
Satellites why not get some fun along with the benefits of the GPS. This =
game has it good points and it bad points but on a whole they say this =
is a small world but it ain't when comes to traveling for a cache..

Ok. What exactly do these two 'interests' have in common? NOTHING. =
My point is this...my fear now is that this has come from such a level =
in government that geocaches are being removed in the name of National =
Security because caches could be used by terrorists to swap materials =
and what-not for different events. =20

  [soapbox]
The Patriot Act is a prime example of someone who is a bit too power =
hungry looking for more ways to control the citizens and give blanket =
approval for violating civil rights. Who is to say this isn't some =
right-wing offshoot of that and that some overly paranoid paper pusher =
isn't looking for a new way to control, and something different to =
oppress?
  [/soapbox]

I know, this could be a stretch, but at the same time it's so odd that =
it might actually be true!

On a side note, can anyone confirm whether or not this type of =
'policing' is taking place anywhere else in the country?

  Brian
  Team A.I.
