10. gets people thinking about conservation.

9.   people are looking at alternative modes of transportation.

8.   makes us appreciate what we normally have.

7.  "fun" video of angry guy at station on 7th ave gets played
over and over.

6.   lots of time to catch up on your reading while in line for
gas.

5.  Traffic is lighter on Valley freeways.

4.  creates easy topic of conversation with strangers.

3.  hopefully measures will be implemented so this problem
doesn't happen again.

2. two words: TANK FARM!


and the top Thing that's good about the gas crisis is...

1.  gas stations that have gas can now be logged as "event"
caches!  (took 20 gallons, left 50 bucks.)  HA!
