I thought I'd share a funny story.

Mike needed to fill his truck with gas this morning. He knew a Chevron near us would have gas this morning so off he went about an hour befoe they said they'd have gas. There was a line already. The gas station attendent repeatedly announced on the PA system that there was a $20 limit. Finally one SUV pulled up and Mike heard the PA harshly announce "The grey SUV at Pump 7 you are going over the $20 limit. Stop pumping now."

Nothing like a little public humiliation first thing in the morning. The SUV owner was lucky he wasn't lynched by the crowd.

It looks like the shortage may ease by Monday at the latest if all goes right and there are no more breaks in the line. Otherwise, maybe event carpool marathon caching trips are in order.

Till a voice, as bad as Conscience, rang interminable changes
On one everlasting Whisper day and night repeated -- so:
"Something hidden. Go and find it. Go and look behind the Ranges --
"Something lost behind the Ranges. Lost and waiting for you. Go!"

Rudyard Kipling , The Explorer 1898
