Paypal selling them off sounds very likely to me as well.
If any of you know anything about unix/linux you can setup spamassassin
available from spamassassin.org.
I've been using it for a few months now and it works VERY well. I've
only had it have 2 or 3 false positives and in every one of those mails
they were either quoting a spam message or trying to sell something...
or in other words, they were being rather spammy themselves.
Anyway, I highly recommend it.
