[Az-Geocaching] batteries are they worth it?

After getting near a few caches and getting pointed in the general =
direction of the cache we at Team Evil Fish were able to log a find, but =
after getting the satellite kicked out of us and me on two cache =
attempts I came to the realization that my sight really needs checked, I =
blame the batteries..
Allright I finally broke down and reinvested in new batteries, bought =
the Energizer MAX was that a good choice? there was talk about =
Re-chargeable ones but what brands and types of AA do you all prefer??
