[Az-Geocaching] Caches dwindling...

I've noticed over the last couple weeks that on the geocaching.com website,
the search for nearby geocaches using my house in Tucson as the center that
the number of geocaches reached a highpoint of 142 about 2 weeks ago and has
since been declining slowly.  Every time a new cache appears one or two are
removed!  I'm down to "only" 138 caches now.  The few months before that had
the number growing quite steadily.  Of course, most of those 138 geocaches
are in the southern fringes of Phoenix.....  Only 55 of them are within 50
miles of my house.
