This may sound like I'm beating a dead horse here- but here goes...
I own the 60CSx, and absolutely LOVE it! It's the best, hands down. I guess for me, it's silly to spend a bunch of money on something that's not quite as good, when you could spend a little bit more money and get exactly what you want and the best there is. You might be able to find them used for a little cheaper. Whenever there's a larger purchase like that for me- I try to do all I can to come up with the money. I'll sell off old/unused stuff on craigslist/ebay to make up the extra money I need. Maybe you can get creative and make some extra cash to be able to buy it. In the end, you'll be thrilled that you did it. Good luck, and if there's anything I can do to help, let me know.
Best buy does not allow you to redeem the gift cards for cash, but I sold mine to someone who was planning on purchasing in the store. Might want to try that….

Understood.
You get most of the features of the 60csx (wonderful GPS - I love mine!) with the Etrex Vista HCX
http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-eTrex-Vista-HCx-High-Sensitivity/dp/B000PDR1LS/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1232793957&sr=8-1
Line for line the two compare favorably, with the battery life on the vista a bit longer.
I have a Vista cx as well. I love that as well, except for the patch antenna. The Hcx fixes that. And it is about $100 bucks cheaper than the 60Csx.
But, I don't think that Best Buy (at least from their website) carries the Vista. So....
