The old town appears to be on BLM land and don't they have restricts about caches near known archaeological sites?  Does a ghost town fall into that category?  If not, I all for a cache out there.  Either a "Wade Gang" Cache where several of us get together and place one or more.  Or if someone local has the time and willingness to place one, maybe a group hunt later this year.  Just some ideas.

Deb and I just saw "3:10 to Yuma."  We are ready to make the trip now!  Looks like what Google thinks is Contention AZ is a little ways from the current rail line.  (and much of the movie is really New Mexico, but no matter)   In any case, we'll be interested in either the cache placing trip, or finding it if it is already out there.

Looks like the nearest traveled track (probably 4WD) ends about 0.3 from
the townsite, which has only a few foundations to be seen. I'd go have a
look!
