Thanks!  I already have a full auto mount and may pick up an extra dashboard mount.

Subject: Re: [Az-Geocaching] eMap Mount in a Jeep?

If you off road in the jeep you most likely will be in a dusty area. As such, your suction will most likely fail as ours did. :)

If your using the jeep as a mall crawler, the suction holder will do just swimmingly.

The dashboard mount would be more advised:

Or the auto mount:

Another option:

We modified a cup holder for our dash mount. Basically the suction cup one we had worked for about 10-30 minutes once we got into any location that actually required off road capabilities of the jeep.

Hope this helps

I just got a new Jeep Wrangler (well, new to me) and I'm looking for a good way to mount my trusty eMap in it.  Do those suction cup thingies work well and stay stuck?  Any other mounting ideas?  Any recommendations for a mail order or Web dealer?

Thanks!
