*whistle whistle*
"All of the kids out of the pool!
It's adult swim time now."

I think there could be a very valid argument here, if only it was presented in a more respectful manner. Since this is a discussion of the coin design then maybe some constructive ideas could be thrown out by those involved in the other CITO events. AZTech had some good, well presented, thoughts. I especially like the idea of an Arizona CITO's series (the series could grow if future CITO events are established). I think the current design is good (with the exception of my earlier comments) and I also think it was created to represent Arizona and not just Phoenix. However, there could most likely be a better design that encapsulates the entire state better. It will be hard for Brian and Jake to know what that design is though until some ideas are given out from those in Tucson and other areas.

In response to the "disgruntled hiker" on the sign:
That was about 80% joke and 20% actual feedback on the coin. While I myself couldn't think of a more appropriate image (especially this early in the design phase) it was my first gut reaction when I saw it.

Chopping this down at the request of others on the list...

"The Arizona CITO Geocoin "

A one mile section of of the beeline highway was adopted by the Geocachers of Arizona. A Physical Geocache is located near the coordinates of the sign. C.I.T.O. Always N 33 29.705 W 111 48.280

So this has nothing to do with you and I getting along, it is and was simply a statement that I do not feel this represents the STATE and of course I believed the original post was asking for opinions. I am sorry to have given an opinion that was other then 'This is Perfect, I will buy 100'

Next time I wont respond when asked an opinion unless I think it is a wonderful perfect idea.
