I love your objection about the "chirp". I spent $400 on a Colorado 18 months ago and it is useless regarding the chirp. There is no software update for me. That is crap. -----Original Message----- From: AZcachemeister To: listserv Sent: Wed, Nov 17, 2010 4:11 pm Subject: Re: [Az-Geocaching] Garmin Chirp The first one in the state (Prescott/Prescott Valley) was stolen after two finds. It was hidden at the peak of a ramada, and required a ladder to get to it. My Magellan(s) (obviously) can't receive the chirp signals. If you properly list them as Mystery caches so we (those of us who can't receive the chirp signal) can properly ignore them, then all will be well. If you waste people's time on a cache they can't complete, then your little devil-capsules might also 'go missing'. Not that I would ever consider removing one, I'm just sayin'... The Oregon is out there also. There are 3 Chirp caches in our area now with more to come. I have ordered a couple of them and intend to try to be creative in their use. gary kemp (bishoptakesqueen) ____________________________________________________________ Az-Geocaching mailing list listserv@azgeocaching.com To edit your setting, subscribe or unsubscribe visit: http://listserv.azgeocaching.com/mailman/listinfo/az-geocaching Arizona's Geocaching Resource http://www.azgeocaching.com ___________________________________________________________ z-Geocaching mailing list listserv@azgeocaching.com o edit your setting, subscribe or unsubscribe visit: ttp://listserv.azgeocaching.com/mailman/listinfo/az-geocaching Arizona's Geocaching Resource ttp://www.azgeocaching.com ____________________________________________________________ z-Geocaching mailing list listserv@azgeocaching.com o edit your setting, subscribe or unsubscribe visit: ttp://listserv.azgeocaching.com/mailman/listinfo/az-geocaching Arizona's Geocaching Resource ttp://www.azgeocaching.com
