You can probably find a PCI card chip reader that will put the chip right on your computer bus. What's the max size chip your 60CSx will hold?----- Original Message -----From: Richard DainesSent: Sunday, September 09, 2007 7:52 AMSubject: Re: [Az-Geocaching] G'bye VistaWell, it was a BUST anyway, the 60CSx would'nt load all those maps (1.8 Gigs worth) so now I'm trying something smaller about 0.7 Gigs covering MO, OK, NM, AZ, UT NV and some of CA.

I lived in the Northeast for a while and those black fly gnats will eat you alive in the Spring. I'd much rather pull cholla spines from my ankle. Winter caching is OK but the duration of daylight really hurts.BTW that Topo file is still processing, it's been 16 hours.

Bronco One was closer to Bell and 32nd but they have been gone for a long time. Got my first 60C there.

OK; guess they have a site--thanks.
Richard,
About 4 years ago there was a discussion on the listserv among Brian Casteel, inter alios, about a place called Bronco One at 32nd and Shea--you might check that out, too

Was on the Rim today when my eTrex finally went "sneakers up"--well, I say "finally" cuz it's been acting up for about a year, but I'm really disappointed that it lasted only 5 years. Hey, my Garmin 45XL is still going strong after 10!
Well, I was going to solicit opinions, but on the way home stopped by WWoM and played with the 60CSx--pretty neat. Problem is it's got a $50 rebate which probably means it's due for upgrade. So, when I got home I looked around--eBay and all the usual suspects--and found it on Amazon for $298 after rebate and free shipping. I know, about 50 of you guys know where I could have gotten it $20 cheaper--ok, I believe you. Anyway, I did it, so you can try and make me feel bad by telling me about all the super prices that are out there, or you could just say, "great, Dick, hope you enjoy it".
Now for the software--opinions?
Dick
