Smittyware CacheMate

CacheMate <http://www.smittyware.com/ppc/cachemate/> is the first
Geocaching-specific application I used. This tutorial is a Work In Progress
(WIP). CacheMate version 1.2.0 July 16, 2006 is the version shown in all
screenshots of CacheMate. A review of CacheMate for Pocket
PC<http://www.th4tguy.com/nav/CacheMate.html>is also available. An
advanced tutorial is forthcoming.
Tutorial

   1. Download and

   CacheMate <http://www.smittyware.com/ppc/cachemate/>
   2. Download <http://www.th4tguy.com/nav/Tutorial_CacheMate.html#Data>the
   gpx/loc from GeoCaching.com <http://www.geocaching.com/>
   3. (optional)
Process<http://www.th4tguy.com/nav/Tutorial_CacheMate.html#Process>with
Geocaching
   Swiss Army Knife <http://gsak.net/>, export to gpx
   4. Transfer<http://www.th4tguy.com/nav/Tutorial_CacheMate.html#Transfer>the
   gpx to the PocketPC (I use the SD card)
   5. Open <http://www.th4tguy.com/nav/Tutorial_CacheMate.html#Open>
   CacheMate <http://www.smittyware.com/ppc/cachemate/>, and import the
   gpx into the DB (default)
   6. Select <http://www.th4tguy.com/nav/Tutorial_CacheMate.html#Filter>The
Correct Filter (All)

Cache To Navigate To
   8. (optional)
