I did it from GSAK like you said and I was not getting all the info.  Then I remembered (after I was banging my head for hours this morning) that I needed to have the GPX file as opposed to the LOC.
 
I got it working.  Thank you for you help!
Now I can go hunt!!

Sounds as though you may be missing a small step or two. Open your download in GSAK. Then, on the menu, go to File, Export, CacheMate PDB file. Save that, and hotsync THAT file into your PDA. That will open in CacheMate, the downloaded GPX file won't open there.
