a quick story about Pete's. My wife, Nancy, an AZ native, grew up eating Pete's, lived a couple of blocks away from one. She was always talking about Pete's. Finally we picked up some fish from Pete's. I was unimpressed-- I remember saying, " uh, Honey, no offense, but this really isn't very good." she just laughed and said, "yeah, you're right. what does that have to do with anything?" mozartman ----- Original Message ----- From: Randy Kinkel To: listserv@azgeocaching.com ; dtanderson@gandsgunroom.com Sent: Thursday, September 08, 2005 8:54 PM Subject: Re: [Az-Geocaching] off topic--hamburger places I agree, monsterburgers are pretty good. I wouldn't eat their fish again, though. what are "oysterettes"? mozartman ----- Original Message ----- From: dtanderson To: listserv@azgeocaching.com Sent: Thursday, September 08, 2005 8:27 PM Subject: Re: [Az-Geocaching] off topic--hamburger places Pete's fish & chips has a great "monsterburger". They closed their doors a couple of years ago. I cant stand the one in Tempe. I seem to have problems in that city. (Last time some drunk tried to crawl through the window of my truck with me in it. I quickly rolled the window up on him and refused to unroll it and release him until he agreed to back off.) > > Does anyone know of a great hamburger place that would be the culinary equivalent to Chuckbox or BunHuggers?
