Trisha,
I appreciated your
making the nasty email public. Under "normal" circumstances, I am opposed
to making private emails public without the consent of both parties, but I think
this email was so over-the-top that you had no choice.
I do think you were
wrong about one thing, though. You indicated that he was acting like he is 15 years
old. Among my other interests, I own the local movie theater here in
Willcox, and I have several 15 year-olds working for me. In fact, my
assistant manager, who is now 16, was 15 when I promoted her to that
position. Your comment about him acting like he is 15 is an insult to all
of the real 15 year-olds out there.
Don't for a moment
think this person speaks for all of the
others in the group. We have, from time to time, shared the
problems of several of our fellow list members. That's what friends are
for. If I wanted impersonal information, I wouldn't join a mailing
list. An Internet mailing list is a community. So, please keep us
up-to-date, because most of us on the list care about how life is going for our
list-friends, even if we haven't had the opportunity to meet them
face-to-face.
