Sorry Steve, I really cant go, or I would help out. Team Tierra Buena wrote: Just in case any of you were thinking, “I’ll volunteer for that meeting if nobody else does”, nobody else did. Details below. We really need some representation there. Please call me 480.206.1431 if you can cover this. Thanks. Steve Team Tierra Buena -----Original Message----- From: az-geocaching-bounces@listserv.azgeocaching.com [mailto:az-geocaching-bounces@listserv.azgeocaching.com] On Behalf Of Team Tierra Buena Sent: Tuesday, July 05, 2005 9:53 PM To: Arizona Geocaching Subject: [Az-Geocaching] Another Opportunity Last Friday afternoon, just in time for the long weekend, I received an email inviting me to represent the Arizona Geocaching community at a planning meeting for a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Arizona State Parks. From the email: “…we would like you to attend this meeting to give our committee information on geocaching as well as ideas on how this activity could be incorporated into our anniversary special events.” The meeting is next Tuesday, July, 12 at 1 PM. It will be in the first floor conference room of the State Parks offices at 1300 W. Washington, Phoenix (parking and entrance at rear of building). I can’t go, but I think this could be a significant opportunity for us. Is there anyone who is willing and able to take on coordinating our participation in this event? Barring that, is there someone who can at least attend this meeting next Tuesday? That would be a much less desirable situation. Ideally, we need someone who can put this thing together and who would be able to attend meetings on weekdays, which I can no longer do. Because of the time constraint, if you’re willing to take this on, please call me at 480.206.1431 during the day, so we can discuss it further. Thanks in advance.
