I talked with Scott Covey from Phx Parks and Recreation this morning

noticed is almost all caches have disappeared from the North Mountain
Park Area within 90 days of being placed.
So my guess is we have a pirate there!

Hmmm. I just wondered, because Charmed Trek Lookout disappeared a week ago
from Lookout Mountain Preserve. It was the first cache we placed and had
been there 8 months. Coincidentally, or not, Limber, in Lookout Mountain
Park also disappeared during the same time frame. We decided kids took that
one though....

We replaced Charmed Trek Lookout but moved it.

Thats terrible, yet not surprising. There are many people who regard the
desert as their personal playground that no one else has a right to. It is
quite possible someone has decided to get rid of geocaching in the
preserves.

Do we have a cache pirate in the Phoenix mountain preserve or an over
zealous ranger? Two very well camouflaged caches have come up missing in

this

area .These hides were to good to be muggled!
