Back when we
held the first meeting with the land managers in 2002, the representative from
the Gila River Community noted that, from their point of view, they weren’t
going to grant permission to anyone to hide a cache because they would then
have to set up a mechanism to grant permission for anyone that wanted to go
hunt for the cache. And anyone hunting it without permission would still be
trespassing.
