I was at Bronco One two weeks ago and bought a Garmin eMap for my mom for Christmas. This will be her first GPS. That store is great because the prices are low, and he will update your GPS software and install maps for free. Everytime I take a trip, I stop by Bronco One to get a map of the area.

y'know, Andy is right.  I had forgotten about that.  A great place to go for a GPS is BroncoOne Electronics off 32st/Shea.  Their price on the eTrex Vista was about $50 lower than anywhere else, so a good deal could be had on the Venture as well.

I also have a friend that sells them (just found out last week).  Let me know and I'll get you a price on one.  FYI, his prices are great.

So hooking up to a pc or having map display is not that important?

Thanks!
