Well, there have been caches with large cash rewards at the end that I'd have loved the opportunity to seek.

Wouldn't you love to get FTF on any of these three? (I'd take #2 over any, but would gladly accept either of the other FTF prizes.

I think that's an awesome idea, but wouldn't the financial reward convert the finder into a professional geocacher thereby knocking them out of a chance to compete when geocaching becomes an Olympic sport?  ;-)

That's a pretty cool idea!  Something that would be kind of fun is reserving a ramada at a park in the early AM and hosting a pancake breakfast type deal.  Eggs/bacon/sausage/pancakes/hash browns or whatever, and possibly charge just a couple bucks per head to cover the supplies, with the leftover fundage to be placed in a cache somewhere nearby that would be the game for the event.  I'm all for helping plan/co-hosting it.

What about everyone who can pitch in at the event cache and treat the Wyle E clan to a nice Breakfast????

Unemployed?  :(  Everytime I hear about that with someone, I am saddened by it, because I know what it feels like and how deeply it affected me.

I'm glad you were able to find some joy in reaching this milestone (which is no small feat), and I look forward to your 2000th find.  :D

Perhaps some kind of get together when the weather is a little more friendly.
Larry was obsessed lately only because he wanted to reach this landmark, and he was able to achieve this by having the free time of an unemployed person (at this time). We celebrated his 1000th find with the finding of the "Free Wyle E" cache. Thank you Dan for a nice cache.
Thanks to everyone for their congratulations.

Congrats to the recently re-obsessed Wyle E for reaching the millenia-mark of geocaching!  Who's going to throw the event cache to mark the occasion?

/me looks conspicuously at Connie
