After noticing the new addition to AZGeocaching.com
I think that after the last few post that we should as a group come up with
something to add to the Ethics....
this would avoid those highly motivated cachers
from getting the 3rd degree thus getting maybe a 2nd degree
roasting....
this would also give the new cacher an idea of what
to expect when a cache is placed....have you ever wondered why a team would
place a cache then never be heard of again??or the cacher after finding a few
caches???
I know that over my year of caching I have come
across a few caches that shouldn't be where they are as they raise to much
suspicion, I like the saying "this may be a great spot but not a great spot
for a cache"
then what is a reasonable amount of time for a
cache to last, should a cache be placed that will only last a few weeks?? Think
of the life of the cache now a days it gets placed there is a race for the first
find then the rash of the weekend finds then there is a lull then a trickle of
visits....
Then I have begun to question the caches that
mention security by placing a cache nearby does that really make a good image
for our (insert own word Sport hobby addiction.....)
I know that I have had several Ideas for a cache
but after doing some of the pre hide work have decided that it was a bad idea as
it would negatively impact both the area and cachers....not to mention that even
if the cache is more than .12 miles away the area doesn't need another
cache....
