From the third cache of the morning:
Now after turning down the road that lead to the
cache, I was greeted by a couple of rather annoying dogs, as they were chasing
my front tires, and well I sure didn't want these barking critters near me when
I went for the find, so drove a little to the right and sure enough the darker
dog wasn't watching for bushes, then started to the left and sure enough the
white/brown dog was very intent upon eating my front tire that when he ran into
the bush knocked him for a flip... proceeded to the cache with no further
company... spotted a dead bird of prey a hawk I think...traded for the blue fish
and drove for the next cache, the dogs got a late start chasing me so it was a
short effort...
From the Sixth:
Parked in the trailhead parking lot right next to a
couple of older gentlemen in a out of state car, I re-read the cache page and
noticed that the cache was only 505 feet away, grabbed my bag and got out of the
car. The Gentleman closest to me asked 'Are you a Geocacher?' I hesitated, then
thought of several responses, then replied "only when I am not fishing", he
responded I thought so as you were reading from a notebook. When I told him
there was a cache only 500 feet away he and his friend who hadn't heard about
Geocaching decided they could make the short hike, I felt pretty great caching
with another cacher from out of state and caching with someone on their first
cache hunt..
We made the walk to the cache and signed the log, I
Traded a happy meal toy for uh uh uh something then as we headed back, the group
of hikers they were waiting for walked the rest of the way with
us..
I have no idea their name and the way he signed the
log with a cute little figure I hope to find that signature again in another
cache..
A very nice day caching the only thing better would
be uh uh uh
Yes does it get any
better??
