found out when was talking with him about geocaching, infact come to think about it my extended family owns several thousand acres in and around ARIZONA that I will need to place caches on, I think I will start with my son's acre in Team Smallville neighborhood.....

Ok.  What exactly do these two 'interests' have in common?  NOTHING.  My point is this...my fear now is that this has come from such a level in government that geocaches are being removed in the name of National Security because caches could be used by terrorists to swap materials and what-not for different events.

The Patriot Act is a prime example of someone who is a bit too power hungry looking for more ways to control the citizens and give blanket approval for violating civil rights.  Who is to say this isn't some right-wing offshoot of that and that some overly paranoid paper pusher isn't looking for a new way to control, and something different to oppress?

I know, this could be a stretch, but at the same time it's so odd that it might actually be true!
 
On a side note, can anyone confirm whether or not this type of 'policing' is taking place anywhere else in the country?
