Wow, since when did Tucson not offer the permits? Two years in a row I have walked into the Tucson office, spent less then 5 minutes and walked out with my permit. Sprocket, did you contact someone in the Tucson office and they said no more? Maybe we should call them because you ARE ALLOWED to walk into the Tucson office and sign two papers, just like getting a fishing license and walk out with your permit as you head to the state land to play. Others from Tucson can confirm that you can get your license without mailing anything.
