I see it didn't make it into the article, but I spent a fair amount of time talking to the reporter about AZ Geocaching communities concerns with preservation and balancing the needs of all. I also put in a plug about the annual meeting with state land managers. I did notice she mentioned a cache behind a tree in the Grand Canyon. Wonder if that will raise any eyebrows. Funny part is, when I was talking to her about the various agencies, I specifically mentioned that National Parks are off limits. The Arizona Repugnant is actually capable of publishing an article about Geocaching without picturing us as barbaric despoilers of the planet and everything on it? http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/0829geocache.html I have to go now and watch the snow falling in my backyard. I'm certain it will be starting any minute. Steve Team Tierra Buena
