I was on my way home from some errands when I passed the Chevron at Crismon/Broadway.  3 MCSO deputies and Rural Metro were on the scene where an Oldsmobile (I think) and a Chevy Tahoe collided, sending the car into the retention basin just outside the station.  If I were to venture a guess (which I will), I'd say these 2 morons were competing to get into the station before the other to get gas.

Serves them right.  I think at least for now the shortage appears to be to some degree under control, as I only passed 1 station this morning without gas, but people were still lined up at all but one for fuel.  We'll see what happens later today when I ship my defective hard drive back for RMA.
