Haven't been following very closely so I don't if this has been brought up yet, but pet stores and warehouse stores such as PetsMart always have portable blacklights.  Not exactly sure of the price.  I got one a year or so ago to find those "puppy spots".  $20 or something.  About the size of a checkbook, about 1" thick.  Takes 3 AA batteries.  Works good.
 
They had all sorts of different kinds to choose from.
