Does anyone know how to erase all of the waypoints that I have stored in
my Garmin Venture GPS?  I have reached the maximum number of waypoints
that I am allowed to store (500), but I need to upload new waypoints for
this weekend's upcoming trip.

I don't have a Venture, but I have to think all Garmins in the eTrex
series work generally the same. On my eTrex Vista, I go to the "Find
Waypoints" page. Then I move the pointer up to the top right corner,
where the X is (the "close" icon). Then I move the pointer to the menu
icon immediately to the left of the X and click down on the pointer.
That opens a menu, and one of the options there is "Delete All".
