Brian Spengler, If you would like to knock out a lot of caches in a close area near the airport (and see some beautiful red mountains at the same time) go to "Beer Can" at waypoint: GC3E2B and do a search of nearby caches. (This area will keep you busy all day.) If you don't mind taking about a forty-five minute drive east from the airport and want to see our Superstition Mountains and desert, I suggest "Old West Cache" at waypoint: GC9056 and "Ghostly Ride" at waypoint: GC9E56. Both of these caches are near each other and will take you to the base of the Superstition Mountains. "Ghostly Ride" is located in an old mining (ghost town) camp, that's now an amusement park. It's especially a nice park to visit if you have children (no charge to get into the ghost town). This area is also full of caches that will keep you busy for several days. Enjoy your visit! I like some opinions on any "MUST SEE" caches in the area. Hiking caches or otherwise, obviously nothing multi-day... generally limited to a 1- 1 1/2 hour investment in time including travel just send a list of your fav's (even if it's your own cache)... i'll review from there... don't be shy... i should have about 6-8 hours of time to fill... if anybody's got the day off and wants to be a guide, let me know!
