Moosemob, My 270W announces turns with street names. There may be lesser 2xx models that do not. This is a great feature (with a volume control) but a bit annoying on tight city streets as the GPS catches up with the road I just missed. At the very least, be sure the unit has built in maps for the area you will travel. I believe the loadable data cards are a nuisance.
