Not too long ago I found out about some custom Garmin Topo maps for 
MT/WY in detail far surpassing either Garmin Topo product, INCLUDING 
Topo 2008.  Recently, the guy creating these custom maps with public 
data, published Topo maps for Arizona. I've tinkered with these maps 
and...WOW.  The level of detail is so much better, and land types (BLM, 
NF, State Trust) are also integrated into the data.  The best part?  
These maps are FREE.
