Debbie, I haven't been caching in the Prescott area yet, so I don't have any recommendations for or against specific caches. However, this is probably obvious, but I had a few caches under my belt before it occurred to me to set a waypoint at my vehicle. Even when I think the cache is going to be "just right over there" I do it, because I've been wrong more than once before. Also I don't know if your GPS tracks your path...mine does and it's nice to have to follow back (assuming I like the path that I took to the cache, which I often don't! LOL). Of course it's still a good idea to keep an eye out for where you are. Batteries fail, GPSs fall in creeks and get carried away. It's never happened to me (and I *always* carry extra batteries), but I just think it's a smart practice to use the GPS as an aid to navigating, not a substitute. -Lisa "PoledraDog" Creepin' Jeepers - Geocaching 7/01 wrote: > Just go for it.
