Hello All ... I might have an answer ... I used to run a computer repair company and have thought about doing GPS repairs again as sort of a start up business. Basically, what you do to start this is to buy lots of busted GPS units and fix them. Some will get sold and others are used for parts. It's early, but if this gets a little steam going, I should have a fair number of units to "borrow" or buy at really low prices. There seems to be a market for this sort of thing. My boys love to geocache, and I've thought about inviting some of my eldest's classmates along (my youngest is only 4). I think they'd have more fun if they had their own GPSrs, or at least maybe 2 to a unit. Beyond that and it's kind of hard to really see what you're doing. -Lisa John Giacobbe wrote: > Hi All: I'm a high school teacher and I want to get my students into geocaching, but I only have two of my own GPS devices. Does anyone know where one might rent a bunch of them? My school has no budget for buying any, but I might be able to squeeze some funds out for a rental. > > Any other ideas would be most appreciated! > > thanks, > ____________________________________________________________ Az-Geocaching mailing list listserv@azgeocaching.com To edit your setting, subscribe or unsubscribe visit: http://listserv.azgeocaching.com/mailman/listinfo/az-geocaching Arizona's Geocaching Resource http://www.azgeocaching.com
