I think I would disable it until the re-model was finished. If I were to 'move' it, I would create a new ID for the new location. I'd then archive the 'new' location, and revive the original whenever that were appropriate. If the remodel is going to take 6 months or less, I'd go for the archive and restore mode. Any longer and I would create a new cache at the new location, then the revival. My $0.02, thanks for asking!
