I will second that . The PDA mapping is really only good for the car but for that purpose it is great.. You can use other programs such as Cetus for finding a cache but the PDA is just to fragile for normal caching. As long as it remains in the vehicle and connected to a power source. I have had to return my no less then 5 times in the year and a half we have had it. Normally due to failure of the antenna or static shock damage. The battery life is around 1.5 hours without being connected to a power source. When zoomed to max level the icon showing where you are takes up about 90' in reference, so do not try to figure a cache location based on where the map icons are.
