A power trail is where a cacher goes out and shoves as many micros as can be physically fit into an area as possible. It allows people to come and get between 80 - 100 caches in less then a couple of hours. Of course every single one is a lame log only cache that will take all of about 30 seconds to find. I will refrain from personal comment on my feelings of this as I am trying to answer your question about what are they. :) here is one example of a powertrail Guy went to californaia to get to pump numbers: http://www.geocaching.com/map/getmap.aspx?lat=33.645567&lon=-116.317517 On Thu, 3 Mar 2005 06:08:52 -0700, Wogun1 wrote: > What is a power trail, exactly? > > -----Original Message----- > From: az-geocaching-bounces@listserv.azgeocaching.com > [mailto:az-geocaching-bounces@listserv.azgeocaching.com] On Behalf Of Guy > Aldrich > Sent: Thursday, March 03, 2005 12:17 AM > To: listserv@azgeocaching.com > Subject: [Az-Geocaching] Power Trail not approved! > > I have been working to put together a power trail for Arizona like those I > enjoyed doing in the Palm Springs area!Unfortunately it was turned down > regardless of whether I could get this trail approved by land managers for > Phoenix Parks and Recreation!Just so you know Coadmin and Artemis shot this > plan down!Any thoughts on this matter! > ____________________________________________________________ > Az-Geocaching mailing list listserv@azgeocaching.com To edit your setting, > subscribe or unsubscribe visit: > http://listserv.azgeocaching.com/mailman/listinfo/az-geocaching > > Arizona's Geocaching Resource > http://www.azgeocaching.com > > ____________________________________________________________ > Az-Geocaching mailing list listserv@azgeocaching.com > To edit your setting, subscribe or unsubscribe visit: > http://listserv.azgeocaching.com/mailman/listinfo/az-geocaching > > Arizona's Geocaching Resource > http://www.azgeocaching.com >
