I'm on the watch list for this cache and got this today. Anyone who deals with the various gov't people about geocaching may be interested. I don't know how big a deal it may be/become, but this isn't a good thing for geocaching. A Park Ranger caught a geocacher, "ran his ID," and informed him he couldn't have a geocache in the nat'l park without a permit. See below fwd'd message for the actual post. I'm not trying to dime out the finder or the hider. I just thought the event was worth noting for all of us. He informed me that you can't have a geocashe in the national park without a permit. I thanked him for the info and tried to go on my way, but he ran my ID, so I guess I am now on a on a list of some kind. Don't know if it will still be there anymore. > > Visit this log entry at the below address: > http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=61a5e00d-228b-4548-ae74-31672a07f9d0 > > Visit GC61EA > http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=11fda3f9-65ef-4c17-bfbe-295e427d8311 > > Profile for fender437: > http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=0e1430f0-7cd9-41b2-80f6-fc58e7fd2bf0 > > Search for caches from this location: > http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?lat=31.3465666666667&lon=-110.25755 >
