AZgc.com is an independent site anyway, run on a server in AZ. I read what had happened on the main gc.com site. I was close as to one of my possible causes, and it's funny what actually happened if you consider that reason. I thought that one of the possible causes was a router frying, but it turned out that the firewall had crashed, rendering everything geocaching, inoperable. It was rebooted, and all were happy.
